Statistics:
  • As early as 1976, studies were showing that women often make the first move. Men just aren't aware of these moves, because a lot of female flirting techniques are less recognizable then the kinds you employ. More recent studies show, that when a women actually does make the trip, she has a 90 percent success rate.
  • Nearly 40% of men do not feel comfortable meeting a women for the first time.
  • Studies show that schools, colleges, coffee shops, and malls are all excellent places to flirt because people are more open to meeting others in these places. Poor locations are restaurants and movie theaters.

CONCLUSION: In the end of our survey, we found that men are not scared to make the first move proving our hypothesis. Some men prefer the women to make the first move but the time and place for everyone determines who does and when they will. The statistics from other researchers on websites stated opposite views but it all depends on the age and person.
